ao menos regravavam um impact is iminent ou o force of habit agora o bonded fdx eles que vao mas é... dass
O que lixa o "Impact" é a produção (ou a falta dela), ainda gosto de alguns temas desse disco, enquanto ao "Force" temas como "feeding time at the zoo" ainda rodam no meu gira-discos.
Ah, é? Então e o "Architect of Pain", esse grande épico do Thrash Metal?

:D

EXODUS Singer On 'Bonded' Re-Recording: 'This Record Is A Total Homage' To PAUL BALOFF - July 13, 2008
Vocalist Rob Dukes of the veteran San Francisco Bay Area metallers EXODUS has released the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET regarding the band's decision to re-record its classic 1985 debut album, "Bonded by Blood":
"Paul was rad, totally original. He was not like Hetfield or Araya. I think at times he wanted to be but he was simply himself. He had a really cool way of going up with his voice in the weirdest spots. I, myself, find it cool and original.
"I have been singing these songs regularly for three years now and I have totally made them my own but with all the nuances that Paul threw in. I have a different voice than Paul, so it would be kinda stupid to just mimic him, but I definitely bite his style but try to remain myself.
"This record is a total homage to him with modern technology and for fun. If he was around, which it is unfortunate that he not, he would be doing this record.
"My life is cool now, but it was cool before I joined EXODUS; I made good money had a great apartment in L.A. and I traveled everywhere and surfed regularly.
'Honestly, I would rather hear Paul re-record this.
"I will give these songs all the venom and hate I can give, and it's all for the love I have for these songs and this band. If those out there don't like it, and think it's not good, listen to the original — it will always stand the -*test*-('") of time."
Produced by guitarist Gary Holt, the re-recording of "Bonded by Blood" — entitled "Let there be Blood" — was laid down at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California; JKZ Production Studio in San Rafael, California; with vocal tracks recorded at J. Rod Production Studios in New City, New York. Andy Sneap is currently mixing the CD at his Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England. An October 2008 release through Zaentz Records is expected.

EXODUS: 'Let There Be Blood' Samples Available - Oct. 14, 2008
San Francisco Bay Area metal veterans EXODUS have posted two songs from the re-recording of their classic 1985 debut album, "Bonded by Blood", on their http://www.myspace.com/exodus . "A Lesson in Violence" and "Metal Command" will be streaming online for a limited time, allowing fans a chance to officially -*test*-('")-drive the controversial release", titled "Let There Be Blood", which hits streets this October 28 through Zaentz Records.
"Let There Be Blood" was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California; JKZ Production Studio in San Rafael, California; with vocal tracks recorded at J. Rod Production Studios in New City, New York. Andy Sneap mixed the CD at his Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England. An October 28, 2008 release through Zaentz Records is expected.
In other news, Gary Holt, EXODUS' founding member and guitarist, has commented on the new recording of "Hell's Breath", a rare track from the band's 1980 demo. "Hell's Breath" will be included on "Let There Be Blood" as a bonus track.
He said, "When Tom and I finished the drum tracks for 'Let There Be Blood', we had a half a day of studio time left, we tried to come up with something to record with the spare time we had. One thing led to another, and next thing you know I started playing the opening riff to 'Hell's Breath', which is when we both said 'Hell yeah!' Funny thing is, neither of us had played the song for two-plus decades, so we were going by memory on the exact arrangement of the song. It wasn't until I started deciphering my old lyrics from some live MP3s that a friend had sent me, that I realized we had gotten the original solo section wrong! Just slightly different, but overall, this one came out so killer, almost makes me want to track some more of those old classics!"
Regarding the band's decision to re-record "Bonded By Blood", Holt previously said: "It is our way of paying homage to Paul Baloff by showing how relevant these songs we had written together still are. We aren't trying to replace the original; that's impossible anyway. We are just giving these songs the benefit of modern production. It's something we talked about before Paul's death and it's always been important to us to do. We were super-excited about entering the studio once again to record these classics, and now it's back to writing the next studio record!"
