E o facto de ser um cd rápido também soa bem... espero que as partes "deliberadamente lentas" não sejam assim muitas Droogies! I have just determined whilst listenening down to the songs that I have miscounted and we don't have the 13 that I thought we had, and that we only have 12 songs. I guess we had one song written down under two different names, and what a let-down. Either way, I was thrashing to this new stuff, and except the songs that are intentionally slower in certain parts, this is a rather jaunty little record. We are just about ready to send Shawn home from doing his drum tracks, which means in real fuzzy math, that we are almost 25% done with the recordings. Now we just need to continue to structure the songs for lyrics, and solos and we are done! Please keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to get this sucker in the pipeline at Roadrunner before we leave for Priest Feast! Until then, I am going to working my ass off. update: Done for now Droogies! I am sitting in my office at 5:30ish AM and am typing this as I try to wake up. Yesterday, Andy Sneap went back to the UK for a while, as we are preparing to go out on the Priest Feast Tour. This means effectively that the recording has stopped, until we return in March/April. We finished all of the rhythm and bass guitars, as well as the drums being finished for a couple weeks now, and I think I even heard some acoustic layers. The reaction from our management, family, friends (the real critics), and my number one judge and coach Justis, has been pretty positive. Onward, I have a furious next few days of getting ready for the tour, as well as making sure that I am ready for this 'switch' from studio to stage. I want to let ya know that we are going to be taken portable recording devices, like we did last time (that seemed to work out just fine), and finish preparing for the last recordings on "Studio Release number 12." Everyone is done with their basic tracks, and all of the songs have been arranged. Its just a matter of singing with my voice AND my fingers. So, until tomorrow (or later today), Long Live Metal! update no disco: ... We are doing great with the progress of finishing the writing of the new record out here. I have chosen a working title and I think that it is going to stick, and the record starts out with an instrumental that is very much like "Into The Lungs Of Hell," and there are 10 more songs that are really fantastic. The is one song on here that will probably touch a lot of people; "The Hardest Part Of Letting Go." ...
